My area of expertise are:
Web Development – I have 13 years of experience in the field of software and database development doing .NET/PHP/HTML/CSS/mySQL/SQL Server. I’ve designed several client/server, web, smart client and mobile applications for businesses in the past years. Recently, my focus in this field shifted in the development of Web 2.0 applications by taking advantage of APIs from different social media channels and mobile applications.
Social Media – I advice small-to-medium sized companies on how to incorporate social media in their business process, how to use the technology and tools and how it can help them communicate better with their customers.
Social Media Optimization – SMO is the new SEO. But SEO is still there. SMO is strategically being present in key social media channels to attract visitors to your content. It also helps build your reputation online thru participation and community connections.
Community Building – This is the field I really love. During my techie days, we created a community around tools and platforms and learned how to grow those communities. After years of doing free seminars, that community evolved to 3 user groups here in the Philippines. Ask @_chimes_, she knows every angle of that community.
Blog Workshops – I’ve been blogging since the day when we call blogs as journals. Blogging is not rocket science but there are certain parameters involved to really make it work and for you to really love it. From using CMS, SEO, writing styles and content distribution, I can help you.
Speaking Engagements – I love talking to people and sharing is one of my passion. Let me speak in your company and let me share to you the latest trends in the Web 2.0 era.
