What’s the biggest hurdle bloggers need to overcome next to writer’s block? It’s stagnation. It can be quite disheartening when you find your blog stuck with the same conversations and the same people day in and day out.
You know, there are ways to get out of the rut that you feel you’re stuck in. Shake stuff up with these tips I picked up from various social media experts:
Bring in other people to guest post. Share your stage with other people. It’ll get their respective audiences into the mix.
Throw in new ideas into the conversation. Think outside the box for one moment and break through the confines of your niche. Don’t just parrot what other people are saying in your field, bring your own voice into the stream.
Since you’re open enough to share your own stage, why not ask to be a part of someone else’s stage, too. Ask bloggers in your industry if you can guest post on their site as well. You’ll definitely get new readers if you do a pretty good job at the guest post.
You’ll actually find that once you step out of your comfort zone, you slowly but steadily inch away from the stagnation that’s eating up your creativity and drive.
Your turn now. How to you break away from stagnation?
