One of the goals a regular blogger has is to expand their blog’s reach to their target audience. We are all familiar with methods such as SEO and to syndicate RSS feeds. The other goal is to monetize the blog once it has established a good number of traffic thru Adsense, CPA marketing, PPC and direct advertisement.
You may have noticed by now that we don’t talk about the topic of making money online. There are too many resources out there that discuss the same thing and techniques over and over again to the point that the topic starts becoming noise.
3 days ago, as I was surfing to buy some books in Amazon, I saw a very interesting project, which is in Beta right now, by Kindle Publishing. Publish your blog on Amazon Kindle. Yes, I can already see those bright eyes of yours full of excitement and would want to rush in registering for an account.
Registering For An Account Is Simple
- Complete your account information and security settings
- Start adding your blog by adding your RSS feed
- Identify your blog to your readers
- Upload a screen shot of your blog
- Provide your web address
- Assign a category
- Assign search keywords for people to see your publication
- You need to have a US bank account or a US address for checks to claim payments.
- DONE
When I uploaded this blog to Kindle Publishing, I noticed that the average selling price for a monthly subscription is $1.99. 70% goes to you and 30% goes to Amazon. Now, you might be asking why I created a post about this one since I don’t like the concept of adding to the make money online noise.
Simple! I’m an Amazon customer and satisfied with a lot of their products and services. Amazon is one of the biggest website in the world and being exposed freely in their market pool is not a bad idea. Lastly, I find the concept elegant.
So, if you have that amazing blog that brings value to your community, why not try offering it to Kindle customers. I believe that they will enjoy reading your blogs. Who know, you might become a famous publisher because of your content.
